my top vertebrae (c1 c2) are unstable. 2day getting new zaps pain off/on near this area on left side where there's now a visible lump. is this urgent?

Depends: It depends in part on the degree of instability you have.  For most, it is minor and has no real consequence.  For some it is quite pathological and can cause clumsiness, staggering, difficulty walking, and even loss of bowel and bladder control.  Don't hesitate to be seen.

C2-3 alignment: The first question is understanding what you mean by misalignment. Are we talking about positional alignment, such as described by a chiropractor, or true anatomical subluxation, known as a spondylolisthesis. If the latter, it should be evaluated in light of your symptoms to see if it requires treatment or observation and conservative management.

bump on neck just below skull when neck bent forward, a few inches about c7. could this be c2 or 3 vertebrae? is it normal to be able to feel them?

Yes: The spinous process@ C7 is commonly referred to as ' vertebrae prominens' as it easily palpable. Occasionally C6 or T1 is the 'prominent' spinous process. ( less than 10-15% of population).However all spinous process(s) may be palpable in some people as well as the base of the occipiput( skull). Hope that helps!

Congenital: the congenital neck fusion typically does not cause the impingement of the cervical cord; It is the mobile segment can cause the problem due to overuse; if you have the neck issue with congenital neck fusion please see a doctor. The fused levels at C2-3 typical does not cause the problem

Yes: If something is compressing your spinal cord or nerve roots can then it maybe surgically opened up. However,  fused verteba do not usually cause such problems. You need to see a spine surgeon if you think you have pressure on your spinal cord or nerves.

Decompression: Some people are born with bony connections between vertebrae, sometimes called "block vertebrae."  Surgery to disconnect them would not restore normal movement.  But if there is pressure on the spinal cord or nerve roots from bone or disk causing symptoms of pain, weakness, numbness or tingling, we can usually relieve that pressure with surgery.  See a neurosurgeon or orthopedic spine surgeon.

Ask the surgeons?: Have you tried asking the surgeons? You say you did but they threw something from the surgical tray at you...hmmm...typical neurosurgeon....I understand.  The fact is that C2 and C3 vertebrae should already be SEPARATED NATURALLY. C1 and C2 are naturally fused..is that what you mean? One thing is "pressing" on the cord or on a nerve. That's not the same as being the CAUSE of your symptoms.

i have c2 to c 4 vertabra are closing up and squching my nerves my shoulder is stiff won't work sometimes i get pralise in the arm.swollen adnoids blocking air way gelp?

2 conditions: You likely have more than 1 condition going on, an acute condition possibly infectious causing swollen tonsils and sore throat that is worsening your chronic vertebral issues. Seeing your doc timely may make a difference. If you have troubles breathing, going to the local ER would be appropriate.
