Ask the surgeons?: Have you tried asking the surgeons? You say you did but they threw something from the surgical tray at you...hmmm...typical neurosurgeon....I understand. The fact is that C2 and C3 vertebrae should already be SEPARATED NATURALLY. C1 and C2 are naturally fused..is that what you mean? One thing is "pressing" on the cord or on a nerve. That's not the same as being the CAUSE of your symptoms.
