Sounds right to me. As Yogi Berra said: It is hard to make predictions. Especially about the future. I would discuss with the injector who knows you and what was done in your case.

Knee bursa: I suspect continuing inflammation of that bursa but ankle edema is unusual unless there is continual leakage of fluid from the bursa running down the leg. I would ask the orthopedic specialist if this is  the reason for the ankle edema and ?physical activity limitations. Could there be another process like a Baker's cyst rupture,ankle damage or phlebitis? Should you have an ultrasound of the calf?

: Is difficult to say exactly what the structure is until pathologist has given you a diagnosis but it sounds more like a ganglionic cyst. They can be removed surgically or sometimes they can be injected with a corticosteroid. The opening of the sack could be cauterized but the likely his occurrence is high

Ankle Bursa: A bursa is a fluid filled sac between tendon and bone that can act as a cushion, the "ankle bursa" is usually associated with the bursa sac near your achilles tendon/ heel cord.  Having it  "burst" could mean it ruptured or popped, and generally there is pain and swelling associated with this.  Usually, the recommended treatment is antiinflammatory medication, rest, cut-out back of the shoe, pt.

Off load.: Unfortunately, there is no "best" solution. I am not sure as to the descriptors bursal condition and plantar fascia   being used together. The bursal sac typically is immediately beneath the heel bone and the fascial inflammation is just in front of the heel. Either way, any weight bearing will only serve to forestall any recovery, quick or long term. Non weight bearing, crutches and heat gets it.

Bursa sac: Swelling of the bursa surrounding the knee which is called "prepatellar bursitis" can be addressed with serial ice applications over a towel that is placed on the knee for 10-15 minutes at a time. Avoid kneeling and hyperflexing of the knee and place a compressive bandage as an additional treatment.
