Radiculopathy: Is what first comes to mind. Also known as a piched nerve in your neck. However there are other causes that need to be ruled out. It could be something as simple as a muscle spasm or something more serious. There are many questions and exam requirements to correctly identify the problem. A full history and a physical exam would be required to determine with any certainty.

Neck pain: A quick visit to the nearest Emergency facility will take care of you. If things are not working out while in the Emergency facility you will be immediately referred to the hospital for management.

Neurologic problem: Your symptoms sound like a cervical (neck) nerve root problem.  A cervical radiculopathy often presents as neck pain with radiation into the upper extremity.  It can be associated with pins and needles, numbness, pain, and/or weakness.

You would benefit from a medical consultation given your symptoms especially if they are persistent.  Good luck to a quick recovery!

Need more info: Many things can cause burning sensation on the side of the head including scalp problems, pinched nerves and migraines.  Serious problems inside the head can also cause this.  If it was sudden, severe and causing nausea or vision problems , go to the ER NOW

How long?: Numbness in the deltoid could be from the neck or local irritation to the axillary nerve. This could resolve over time but if you have been having these symptoms for a few weeks now the it is time to see your pcp. It is likely a musculoskeletal problem that would improve with therapy.

Burning : A burning sensation like acid flavor support gastritis, and I recommend taking tums (calcium carbonate) over the counter and see if this helps. Try to avoid chocolate, acidic foods, tomatoes, lemons as these can worsen gastritis or GERD

TMJ: Check your TMJ. Is there clicking? Pain on chewing? Probably a combination of TMJ and neck.

Superior trapezius : The unifying symptom you describe is the broad region of discomfort.  This muscle runs throughout the region you describe.  Perhaps is spasm in this muscle with tendonitis where it connects to the occipital skull.  Your signs and symptoms are odd, and you should see an osteopath to sort this out.
