How long?: Numbness in the deltoid could be from the neck or local irritation to the axillary nerve. This could resolve over time but if you have been having these symptoms for a few weeks now the it is time to see your pcp. It is likely a musculoskeletal problem that would improve with therapy.

This is not due to : An old l 1 fracture but could be related to a neck and/or right shoulder issue. If symptoms persist or progress, see your physician for evaluation and treatment.
