i have small itchy stinging bug bites and itchy stinging eyes. i know its not an ant or spider bite. i live in florida. what could've bitten me?

See a dermatologist: You are correct it is not ants or spiders. Maybe it is not bites of any kind. See a skin specialist.

If the lesions are : Only on the eye lids - i would be doubtful that they were bedbugs. Bites are usually in areas that are exposed while sleeping-arms, shoulders, neck & legs.  I can only describe bed bug bites in general (not specific to eye area). Bed bug bites may cause no sx's/signs in some except for 2 small points where skin was punctured by bedbug. When there's a reaction, it may show from an hour to several &gt;.

my 3 year old is covered head to toe in bug bites. what can i do ?

Have it checked...: Go to urgent care/er to be on the safe side.  At 3 years old, you don't want to second guess and wait for a reaction to occur.  In some instances, there is a delay in the reaction.   When you get to see the doctor be ready to tell them what type of bug may have bitten and note any changes in the bites appearance from the time of occurrence to when it is examined.

11 mth old swollen nodes on back of head at neck for 2 weeks.  went down 1 day & came back.no fever or other symptoms. bug bites on head. call doc?

Reactive: These nodes are reacting to the bug bite on the scalp. Ibuprofen could help with swelling. If the nodes continue to swell or get worse a course of antibiotics could be helpful. So i would see the doc in 1-2 weeks if not better.

Cortisone cream: I would advise using a topical cortisone cream and keeping the scalp clean with a gentle shampoo. watch for signs of infection. Please follow up with your physician.

Allergy: Sounds like a contact allergy. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) might help but seek medical care if it persists.

Maybe: The swelling of your face could be related to sun exposure but it could be due to other issues.  See a regular doctor.

Insect bites: If these are uncomplicated insect bites and not secondarily infected(surrounding redness), they should not cause headaches or pain and should heal in several more days. Have your physician examine you to be sure.

Bug bites: Any allergic reaction to a bug bite can itch however, spider bites, and deer fly are less likely to cause an allergic reaction than fire ants, mosquitos, or chiggers. Some 'bites' are not really bites at all, but rather the discomfort comes from a sting such as: fire ants, bees wasps and scorpions.

Bug bites: Are you sure these are bug bites? Not hives or another type of rash? If they are indeed bug bites a topical steroid should help, such as hydrocortisone, otherwise see your doctor about them.
