Kidneys otherwise filter much faster (to be simple) but main organs that suffer are brain liver heart and vascular system. Cirrhosis can occur 15-20y later, hypertension can be consequence of alcoholism, heart muscle can loose power to contract properly and enlarge then fail, arrythmia then occur.
