See your doctor : If you are having post menopausal bleeding it is important you see your PCP or Ginecologist to perform a pelvic exam, you may need an ultrasound, and other tests. The bleed may be from hormone imbalance to even a cancer hence why you need to have a full medical evaluation. Hope this helps!

RLL abd pain: Right lower quadrant abdominal pain can be ovarian but also could be appendix, pelvic inflammatory disease, other bowel problems, and other things some of which can be very serious.  Spotting in a post menopausal female could be due to polyps, thinning of the uterine lining, uterine or cervical or vaginal cancer, or thickening of the uterine lining.  If the pain or bleeding worsens go to ER.

?hot flashes/ may be: Hot flashes can persist for several years after the menopause. If these are bothering you, go see your gynecologiat ..Perhaps a short course of hormones would be needed if the hot flashes wake you upo at night or make you too uncomfortable during the day.

Need evaluation: A possible side effect of this medication is abnormal bleeding.  Regardless of this possible association, all postmenopausal bleeding must be evaluated and this should include an exam, endometrial biopsy, and ultrasound.

Need ultraspund: Your spotting could be leftover from pap but to confirm an u/s would show if your uterine lining is too thick. If it is more than 4mm you need more testing to confirm no precancerous cells in lining. Risk factors: family history  uterine cancer, obesity, postmenopause.

: Most common causes are vaginal atrophy, uterine fibroids or polyps; however, malignancy needs to be ruled out. You should see a GYN doctor for a full evaluation.

Probably ok: Your hormones and uterine lining vary slightly at your age, cycle to cycle. some some are heavier, some longer. etc. it is not normal for to be longer than a week, many cycles in a row.  See ur gyno for that.  
Every once in a while, tho,  if no other issues... give your body a break. it is likely ok.

Just because it...: ...never happened before, doesn't mean it can never happen.  Completely regular &amp; normal menstrual cycles require precise orchestration of reproductive hormones &amp; their effects on your uterus.  Spotting of any color can happen if  the uterine lining was not completely shed after your LMP or if the hormone levels are a bit off this cycle,  No worries unless it recurs or new symptoms develop.

had ecc done today, no colpo biopsies taken otherwise. had bright red bleeding during procedure, light pink spotting after. is this normal?

Discharge : Having discharge, spotting, or bleeding can occur after a colposcopy. If it persists let your provider know.
