Just because it...: ...never happened before, doesn't mean it can never happen. Completely regular & normal menstrual cycles require precise orchestration of reproductive hormones & their effects on your uterus. Spotting of any color can happen if the uterine lining was not completely shed after your LMP or if the hormone levels are a bit off this cycle, No worries unless it recurs or new symptoms develop.
