It can: This can happen if the eyes are open or don't blink well.  There are parts of the brain that control blinking and eye closure.  The eyes can get dried out, bloodshot, and irritated.

Many reasons: Could be a post-traumatic headache syndrome, but cannot rule out presentation of glaucoma, or even sphenoid or ethmoid sinusitis.  Unlikely to represent new brain complication.  Also, unlikely, possible giant cell arteritis, but get some blood testing with sed rate just to be safe.

Yes, but....: If you are having these issues, you should be in an icu.  This is serious.  Pupil changes from head injuries are likely a precursor to a fatal event.  If this is chronic, i rec a full neurological exam, then an eye exam by an md.

Conflicting thoughts: is more likely the source of the anxiety, not the other way around.  You MAY also have some health anxiety.  Please see your doctor to make sure all is well and then a mental health professional to learn ways to cope w/anxiety.  You are young and working on this already so there is much reason to be hopeful.  Peace and good health.

Many: May be migraine?  May be occipital neuralgia? May be referred pain from the neck (if there is an upper neck issue).  These are somethings to consider.

It is possible.: A traumatic blow to the head can cause brain injury depending on the severity of the blow. The most likely complication from a mild blow is a concussion. Loss of consciousness is not required to have a concussion. Avoid activities that put you at high risk for another head blow (sports) until the symptoms fully resolve. Repeated concussions over time can add up to cause more serious brain damage.

Nystagmus??: With significant brain injuries or disease you may be describing actual nystagmus which are bilateral involuntary symmetric rapid small amplitude movements. Another possibility is eyelid myokymia. Needless to say, these are best addressed by your eye care physician to identify issues ; assess their impact.

Traumatic brain inju: Prognosis after TBI depends on multiple factors.  MRI information can help guide prognosis as can PET flow studies.  Generally most clinicians consider a two year window for potential neurologic recovery.  Visual evoked potentials can also help prognosticate outcome. Xrays of your neck: Your case sounds scary. Traumatic brain injury once treated and stable should not be the cause of your separate symptom; left neck/head pain and left arm weakness. Remember, left side of your brain, controls right side of your body. You might have injury to left spine/neck, perhaps from the trauma that injured your brain, causing left arm weak. Get appointment with your doc, neck x-rays, ct head.
