: Tubes ? I suppose you mean Fallopian tubes. Some women are born without one or both (rare). Some lose tube function on one side or the other from infection. Your post does not provide enough information to be sure.

Endometriosis?: There are several causes for blocked fallopian tubes. The most common is pelvic inflammatory disease but if you have not had infections then this is probably not the cause in your case. Other causes are prior surgeries and endometriosis. Only your gynecologist could tell you what might be the cause in your case. In cause of scarring in the fallopian tubes can cause them to be blocked.

: In the hysterosalpingogram the spillage of contrast into the abdomen on both sides means they are both open. If there were no contrast spillage that would bean they were blocked. Open tubes mean the egg has a place to enter and be fertilized. If both were blocked it would be one cause for infertility. This test should be explained to you by the doc who ordered it &amp; knows you.

Several Options: Well you can approach this finding in several ways. First of all, you could simply consider ivf and speak to a fertility specialist about your chances based upon age, ovarian reserve, etc. Alternatively, you could explore the status of the tubes more definitively with a fluoroscopic tubal canalization (super-hsg) or with a laparoscopy. A non-internet fertility doc would be best source for advice.

: It is- tubes are opacified' not pacified- i.e. seen by the contrast injected. The rest is a description of them. Right is normal. Left has some fluid in it. The interpretation of this should be co-related with the reason it was ordered. Pl ask your doc who ordered it

how can i lower my estrogen level? its at 213 on day 3 of my cycle. trying 2 conceive! have reg periods, both tubes open, husband has 50 mill active!

Would not try: Sure would not try to lower estrogen level. More importantly, get doctor to measure shbg, fsh, and lh, and around day 14 -18 of the cycle, progesterone. Cj glueck md.

Depends: Sounds like you have bilateral hydrosalpinges (bilateral dilated and blocked tubes)  typically draining the fluid does not fix the tubes. Even if the tubes were repaired by opening the ends and fixing the adhesions, pregnancy rates are only 20%  in patients with repaired tubes (does not sound like your tubes were fixed). Most fertility doctors would recommend ivf for hydrosalpinges.

how can i increase my chance of conceiving faster with just one patent fallopian tube, both tubes were blocked so i did tubal flushing after doing another hsg just one tube is currently patent. should i do another flushing for the other tube?

: The problem may not be simply blockage.  It takes the normal delicate lining of the inside of the tubes to accomplish natural conception. If these linings are scarred, the chances of a life threatening ectopic pregnancy increase. Ask your treating OBGYN what your chances are now, before you do more procedures. Why were they blocked? One good tube is better than 2 injured ones.
