Uncontrolled diabetes can damage nerves that control bladder. See doctor regularly to keep diabetes and blood pressure under control. Also consider seeing a urologist, especially if you retain urine and get frequent bladder infections.

Most natural fruits: Important  to eat  healthy . Avoid  processed food  as the tend to have  high sodium . No added  salt diet and  if obese  lose weight.

It depends: It could be anxiety, misplaced blood pressure cuff, shortness of breath when walking to the exam table, medication induced, whitecoat hypertension. Your physician will able to determine if the blood pressure is correct by repeating at least two readings. The same physician will ask medical questions for any risk factors that cause blood pressure up.

Need more info: If it‘s solated low GFR, and you‘re otherwise healthy (with normal urine studies and maybe ultrasound) all that needs to be done is continued monitoring. Because even if you do have chronic disease, the mainstay of treatment is to control blood pressure, which you say is low. I have not seen anyone worked up for isolated low GFR that revealed anything after expensive tests. What says your doctor?

Should be concerned: Cofee can be attributed to systolic elevation around 10 only &amp; so wake up &amp; pay attention to lowering BP.
Start with Lifestyle modification.If ,lose wt-daily 30 min walk,yoga,meditation.
Low carbohydrate,high protein diet with of fresh veg &amp; fruits &amp; nuts. Incorporate grilled or baked fish &amp; chicken.
Keep daily record of your BP. If lifestyle modification does not lower BP,need to go on medication

on bystolic (nebivolol) 10 mg for blood press. works great for about 12 hours then b/p shoots up. is their an extended release? can i take it twice?

Check with doctor: Don't change your medication unless your provider reviews and approves. There are medication "cousins" of bystolic (nebivolol) that are extended release.  At age 18, why you have high blood pressure should be looked at closely and what happens at the end of the 12 hours to have it jump.  What is your lifestyle? ..Weight, nutrition, salt intake and more...

Contact your: perscribbing doctor for specific instructions.Increace fluids,like a quart or 2 of Gatoraid to help raise your blood pressure.Not a good idea,in some cases,to just stop a medicine like Tenormin(a Beta Blocker)without weaning down.If you feel dizzy,faint,or have chest pain/shortness of breath,call 911 and go to ER.

Depends!: In the past, we aimed for the lowest blood pressure you could tolerate w/o any side effects. In other words, as low as possible w/o passing out or feeling weak & woozy. In reality, most patients only achieve <140/90 which recent studies have demonstrated appears to be good enough. In fact, more recent studies suggest that achieving less than 130/80 if diabetic doesn't improve outcomes.
