Nasal sores: Sores in the nose could be caused by vitamin b deficiency, irritation (cocaine users) and infection. More common infections are caused by viruses (herpes) and and bacteria (staph, strep).

If it is accompanied by discharge and crusting, and if it fails to self resolve after several days to a week, it might be bacterial and require an antibiotic.

Most likely staph: It is most likely a staph infection of the hair follicles inside your nose. You can get some Bacitracin ointment over-the-counter and rub it inside your nostril a few times a day over the next few days and it should get better. If not you should see an ENT doctor for a more complete evaluation.

Yes: I would be concerned about a staph infection.   But I am most concerned that despite some serious xXxX you are not prepared to ask for help in stopping the meth.   This constitutes a life threatening addiction.  I pray you can find some help with it as well as being checked out for a staph infection.

Antibiotic ointment: First, be sure you quit traumatizing your nose, even minor. This is often caused by one's fingernails. Staph and strep pneumonia are normal colonizing bacteria for many people without harm. Harm comes when one's natural body defenses, such intact skin and nose lining is compromised. An antibiotic ointment is helpful as it is very local in effect and potent.

Dry skin: Are you talking about the skin IN the nose or on the outside between the nostrils as well as skin on the face? I would recommend trying vaseline or Eucerin Aquaphor for the dry skin.

Infection: This could be a dermatologic problem or an infection. You need to see a doctor to get a diagnosis. It could be something like psoriasis, a fungal infection or a bacterial infection. Try to see a doctor as soon as possible. A biopsy or scraping may be needed to make the diagnosis.
