Urinary incontinence: Your mom has urinary incontinence which is very common in women.  She should see her doctor for a referral to a urologist.  This is an expert in the urinary tract.  Medications may help,  but other maneuvers or studies may be required.  As long as she has this her quality of life may be limited.  After treatment most patients have a boost in self esteem.

Recurrent UTI: Common, you may need another course of antibiotics, and practice some hygiene tips, if you aren't doing that already,  like wiping from before backwards after bowel movements, urinating right after intercourse if sexually active, drinking lots of fluids / cranberry juice. If truly bothersome see a specialist, a urologist, good luck

Urinary incontinence: I do not know if you have had a baby or not, but you sound like you are not keeping your urine in when standing.  You need to talk to your OB/GYN.  He or she will be able to check your bladder function.  Try some kegel exercises.

Might be irritated?: Some foods act as irritants to the bladder, and make you feel like you have to go to the bathroom all the time. Examples include: coffee, tea, alcohol, tomatoes, salsa, spicy foods, chocolate, fruits/juices that are high in acid. Avoiding excessive  amounts of these substances might help. Drinking more water may help, too. If these dont help, please see your doctor or a urologist. Lgromkomd.

Rule out UTI: Need urinalysis. Could be a mild uti, mildly overactive bladder, mild interstitial cystitis or other early pathology. See your dr. If it persiists.

See below: Normal U/A likely rules out a UTI as the cause of your symptoms. A post-void ultrasound bladder scan would determine whether you are truly emptying your bladder adequately or retaining urine. If no retention but you have other urinary symptoms (urgency, frequency) along with bladder discomfort, interstitial cystitis a possibility. If not, pelvic ultrasound would help rule out non-urinary causes.

Just a thought: but this sounds like INTERSTITIAL CYSTITIS an inflammation/infection where the urge to urinate originates in the bladder wall itself rather than the superficial lining!
Discuss with your Family Physician/GYN this can be "stubborn" and there is SPECIFIC TREATMENT!

Cystitis R infection: Dribbling, or a bladder that does not empty fully or a sensation that the bladder is not fully emptying represents infection.  You have a urinary tract infection or inflammation.

Sounds like: you could have a urinary tract infection (cystitis and or Urethritis) Check it out with your Primary Care or GYN Provider!

Seek an answer: First visit with your general doctor, and get basic urine screening studies.  Maybe best to see a urologist
