mother toke tylenol for pain. she took 6-8 a day 3 hours apart for 3 weeks. she stopped taking any pills for 3 weeks now. but her condition is getting worse. everything she eats taste bitter. hasn't ate in 2 days. signs of irreversible liver damage?

: I doubt liver damage from taking tylenol unless she combined it with drinking alcohol. I recommend consulting a specialist in internal medicine for a thorough evaluation including thorough history&amp;system review, complete physical examination &amp; appropriate testing. She may be referred to another specialist such as a gastroenterologist depending upon the assessment.

i have this constant bitter taste in my mouth. is it something to do with my liver or kidneys? in the loo, urine seems darker in bottom clear on top.

Blood tests: For liver and kidney function will tell you for sure.  Urine color can be dark with jaundice, caused by hepatitis.  Stop guessing and get medical help.

Multiple potentials: Intestinal infection, gastritis, or ulcers could certainly cause bitterness in the mouth and abdominal pains.   If this persists, I would consult with a doctor.

Sounds: like you may have a gallbladder problem  not as rare as some think even in a male your age! The foul smell may be due to fat malabsorbtion. At any rate your symptoms require a proper GI evaluation which can begin with your PCP (Primary Care Provider)

Depends on: Severity of pain and other symptoms and signs.  It could be esophageal perforation, called boerhaave's syndrome, caused by forceful or repeated vomiting.  Only a careful physical examination and imaging can make this diagnosis, which is a surgical emergency.  You should see a doctor immediately.

chest pain, abdomen discomfort, bitter taste, nape&jaw pain. brain mri, ecg, blood chem came back normal.  what is d best approach to rule-out causes?

Gastroenterology?: If your doctor or cardiologist are satisfied that the pain is not coming from your heart, you might consider seeing a gastroenterologist for work up of a possible G.I. source of this discomfort. Given the bitter taste and the abdominal discomfort, a G.I. source certainly is possible. Good luck.

I find it: hard to find a "single" explanation for your symptoms. Therefore suggest you may have BOTH reflux and a UTI aand you can add Gallbladder problem  as another possibility!

Yes. Bitter Melon: contains Vitamin K. This will reduce the efficacy of Coumadin and increase your risk for thrombosis.

Unclear: I researched your question and discovered that ampalaya has many biologically active components with many reported medical uses but i didn't find anything that either supported or refuted the claim that it specifically raises bp.
