Depends on: Severity of pain and other symptoms and signs. It could be esophageal perforation, called boerhaave's syndrome, caused by forceful or repeated vomiting. Only a careful physical examination and imaging can make this diagnosis, which is a surgical emergency. You should see a doctor immediately.
