Yes. : Twelve cavities are alot. Most cervical caries at gum line can be fixed. A tooth colored bonded resin filling will look good, may help to close gaps, and can last for years with a better care and improved diet. However some of your problems might be related to gum disease which if not treated may lead to tooth loss. Ask your dentist.

i have got food stuck in my gum (between the gum and the tooth next to the wisdom tooth), and receding gum between wisdom tooth and the tooth next to it, this causes me constant pain. i tried to clean it, visited a dentist, but couldn't help anyways?

: Hard deposits can break off. If you have that much calculus then you are way overdue for a professional cleaning by a dentist. Left untreated, the bacteria residing in those deposits cause gum recession, bone loss, and eventual loss of teeth. Make an appointment with your dentist.

OTC pain meds: The pain meds will mask the symptoms until you get to a dentist to have your problems treated. Unfortunately, dentistry is not a do it yourself profession. The sooner you call the sooner you will feel better and the better chance you will have to save your teeth.

Get it Fixed: It may be possible that your broken tooth is allowing food to collect in the gum tissue that surrounds the tooth. Or it may be that there is a crack in the tooth that goes below the gum. Either way, you need some attention to the tooth.

Has it been a long time since you last saw your dentist for dental hygiene care? You may have tartar building up and pushing the gums away. If so, this is serious and needs dentist attention right away. A specialist called "periodontist" is also great to visit.
