i have red patches that are all over my body. i have no other accompanying symptoms. it looks like little blisters. is there any diagnosis for this?

Accepted Answer

: Chickenpox, enterovirus or even measles in an adult come to mind. Itching  accompany these. Have a physician or dermatologist examine you. Appropriate testing may be performed to confirm diagnosis.

i have cellulitus, been on bactrum for about 6 days, most  symptoms have gone accept the area in which it started is now huge blister.  good/bad?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without examining you and your symptoms warrant evaluation by a physician. However, it appears that your lesions are improving. Leave the blister alone. If it does not improve in a couple of days,or gets worse, do contact your doctor. If you get fever, see your doctor.

A thought: Do you wear pants with a metal fastener?  Does wearing jewelry ever cause skin irritation?  A thought that comes to mind is nickel allergy, which can usually be diagnosed by history.  Patch testing can confirm.  If not nickel, some form of contact irritation or allergy seems likely given the small area of involvement.  A Dermatologist or Allergist can help.

Get tested: You should see a doctor and get tested for sexually transmitted diseases. If the results are negative repeat the HIV nucleic acid test in 6 months.

i am 40 yo. i have pretty much every symptom of shingles. right down to the blistering rash that popped up yesterday. except for the blistering rash was gone almost 24 hours later. could it still be shingles?

: It can happen but it is not that common to have shingle at age 38 Without being immunocompromised. If the rash came and went in 24 hours, I can assure you that it is not shingle. Urticaria, commonly known as hives  can come and go within a few hours which I suspect you may have had. If it is recurring, I would recommend following up with your doc. Good luck

Bad shoes: Blisters are the skin's reaction to high shearing forces. There is something that is rubbing on your skin causing them to develop. Correct the shoes will be helpful. Have to be careful with 2 pairs of socks or using Vaseline. They can make the problem worse when used in the wrong situation.
