Yes. : 7th nerve palsy have a motor and sensory component to it, so  sensorineural hearing loss is a possibility. There are few inherited syndromes associated with it: möbius, charge, congenital auditory canal stenosis, etc. "congenital facial palsy seems to be a valid statistical predictor of sensorineural hearing loss and can be a useful device in audiologic decision making" www.Ncbi.Nlm.Nih.Gov/pubmed.

Not usually: There are 5 branches to the seventh cranial nerve. None of these will affect hearing. Congenital speech and hearing loss is usally caused by other factors. You can see a neurologist to help you answer this question.

Bell's : Bell's palsy is a condition in which the muscles of facial expression become weak or paralyzed because of an injury to the facial nerve.  Related symptoms include changes in hearing, decreased production of tears and saliva, and decreased sense of taste.  One of the most serious problems that can result from bell's palsy is injury to the cornea of the eye, caused by inability to fully close the eyelids.

Most cases of bell's palsy are considered "idiopathic, " although they are probably caused by a viral infection.  Some cases are caused by serious underlying problems, such as strokes, tumors, other infections, and other unusual problems.

Persistent headache is an unusual symptom of bell's palsy and should be re-evaluated by a doctor to look for unusual or unexpected causes.

Keep music or other background noises below 70 decibels.

The former may be surgically correctable and the latter may be possibly corrected with amplification.  You must have a hearing test (audiogram) and interpretation of the audiogram by an otologist.

Hearing tests: A hearing test is what can be done to check the hearing.  Ideally it should be done in an Ear nose and throat doctor's office as they have the sound proof booth that is important to have while administering the tests.  If you are not in a sound proof room the results are not as good. The Ent doctor is the person that can definitely look at the ear to make sure that there is no anatomical problem.
