if i had blood work done that says peripheral blood, bcr/abl1 mrna analysis, qualitative: negative. no bcr/abl1 mrna transcripts were detected. what does that mean? does that mean i have a bcr/abl1 negative that would indicate acml or no cml detected?

: BCr/Abl is marker of CML. Since you do not have have this, you do not have any evidence of CML.
Do you have any abnormality in your blood counts? If your WBC count is normal and your platelet count is normal, you have no reason to think of having a diagnosis of CML.

Many: There are many causes of this picture. Perhaps the most common is hidden infection or inflammation and iron deficiency. Other causes include chronic myeloid leukemia with other rare mutation, chronic neutrophilic leukemia, myelofibrosis, etc. You probably would benefit from hematology consultation. Lap score many be useful as well.

does that mean that person has actually been diagnosed with bcr/abl?

Or Philadelphia: Chromosome is a typical mutation seen in chronic myeloid leukemia, among others, and part of its diagnostic workup. In above circumstances status ( positive/negative) is not known, once status found it may help establishing a final diagnosis as well as targeted therapy.

CML: Refer your test report for interpretation. This usually indicates a positive BCR-ABL translocation, specific for the diagnosis of CML (chronic myelogenous leukemia) in the right clinical presentation. CML is a very treatable disease now with oral pills such as Gleevec, Tasigna, (nilotinib) and Sprycel with very high response rate. Good luck! 

Of note, this can also occur in ALL.

Uninterpretable: Taken out of context, your tests become uninterpretable. The tests you are undergoing are highly specific for chronic myeloproliferative disorders, out of which CML is the most common, with many variants described. Your hematologist would be in the best position to comment on them and place them in the right context in your case.

Demand an answer: You have chronic granulocytic leukemia or one of its close relatives and you should have been told. There's no "solution" in terms of an easy cure, but this is a manageable illness. You owe it to yourself both to get the full picture from your physicians, and read up on this family of illnesses and the treatment options -- medication versus (at your young age) possible curative transplant Rx.

jak2 v617f at 0.1%, jak2 ex 12 borderline, bcr-abl negative, calr negative, slightly high wbc and neutophil counts on last 3 tests, all other counts in normal range. would  a bone marrow biopsy be necessary and/or give a specific reason?

: Marrow biopsy probably makes sense to evaluate myelodysplasia. If recommended by your doctor, especially a hematologist/oncologist, for sure do it. Why not? It's not a fun procedure, but no big deal -- no more painful or stressful than many dental visits. Follow your doctors' advice.

Ck: By itself  a lab test has little meaning. Tests are ordered and interpreted in the context of the individual patient extrapolating from study data obtained from similar patients. If no such data is available, interpreting the study value is speculative.

Hydrate: Rest and hydration can  reduce cpk. It would be advisable  to stop the offending drugs!

Muscel injury: Ck levels are elevated with muscle injury.  All muscles, skeletal, cardiac and smooth muscles release ck on injury.  Some drugs and alcohol can also damage muscle and cause high ck.
