Abdominal : Abdominal pain is a very complicated symptom.  Often, the er is able to make sure it is not caused by something dangerous and in need of emergent care, but rarely are they able to diagnose the problem after that.  Still, you did the right thing by taking her to the er with pain that severe. You should call her doctor for an evaluation.  Her doctor will be able to take a thorough history and physical which can help direct further testing and/or treatment if needed.  Good luck!

so i'm 20 years old, i get these leg pains, its about every night they hurt. seems the only thing to help is a hot bath or heating pad.why?

Muscle cramps : These are common.  Most frequent cause is cold extremities during sleep, excessive exercise, or caffeine use.   Please try to discontinue caffeine, and wear socks or leggings to bed.   If this doesn't help, see your, doctor.

Review: Review her JA treatment. She may require changes in her medication.to achieve better control. It is so sad she is requiring Lortab for pain. Also check her dose with her doctor. Maybe that can be increased. All the best.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests.  Regular aerobic exercise may help in controlling low back pain. It may take three months of regular exercise to see benefit.  It would be prudent to see your doctor.

Left : Left sided back pain may be caused by back joint problems, pulled muscle and injured rib or vertebrae, sometimes other organ systems can cause the pain.  I would recommend being checked by your primary care doctor.  Physical therapy is usually the initial treatment.  Patients who fail physical therapy may benefit from steroid injections, other interventional pain procedures or surgery depending on the specific problem.  Good luck!

what are some home remedies for terrible af cramps? apart from heating pad and hot water bath coz they dont do any good to me. thanks!

Menstrual cramps: If you desire non-medication approaches you can discuss use of  traditional herbal like Black Cohosh w your Dr.  Sipping Chamomile tea can also help to dissipate pain.  A small amt of essential oil massaged onto  abdomen can be calming. Consider lavender, rosemary or sage.  Stretch your body.  Inhale slowly through your nostrils. Fill your lungs and hold for a count of five before slowly exhale.

i tried tylenol (acetaminophen) sitting in hot bath n drink hot milk n get massages n heating pad n still hav severe back pain i'm preganant n what else can i take :(?

Hard to say but...: This is hard to answer without more details or even without examining you, but it would be totally safe to add 2 cups of epson salts to your hot bath to get magnesium into your body, which often helps.
Consider seeing a physical therapist and/or good osteopath (who does osteopathic manipulation- see http://bit.Ly/1kgd0xp) or good chiropractor. Acupuncture can help as well. Consider prenatal yoga.

Only if you have pai: You can use it if you have associated cramps or pain and it may help but if no pain it will not do anything.

There are risks: Sleeping pads can cause burns if you fall asleep on them. Of course they help with muscle aches but they can cause harm so i would not recommend them for sleeping.

Depends: It depends where you are using it.  If  you are using it on you back or leg or arm that is okay. Not on your abdomen.
