Baking Soda: Baking soda can be used to help maintain dental health.  It is very important to dilute the baking soda to minimize an abrasive effect.  It has not been documented to "ruin the gums" but as with any modality, it must be used in the proper concentration and with the proper method.

Peroxide burn: It&#x27;s only temporary over-oxidation\burning\dehydration of the tissue. It will return to normal within a day or so. Speak to your dentist about how to accomplish proper oral hygiene and have clean healthy white teeth.

Rinse rinse rinse: your mouth with warm salt water (1 tsp to a quart) and spit it out between your teeth with them closed.  Don't eat or drink anything acidic or spicy and don't ever use both peroxide and baking soda again together.  If you have an infection in your gums, you will need antibiotics.  Any clinic can prescribe for you, no dental insurance needed for this.  Good luck!

All decay or gum infection are caused by microbials (bacteria). Keep your teeth cleaning by brush and flossing and see a dentist regularly for prevention is the key.
