Eating right: The best way is to have small amounts of fatty foods, creams, butter, oils and junk food.
You are best off without sugary foods
read labels always you will be surprised how much fillers chemicals and sugars there are in foods
if you cook or prepare foods you can control what you eat
good foods for your body including your gums and bone means plenty of fruits and vegetables, nuts fish egg whites.

Nutrition & hygiene: A balanced nutrition with foods that is good for your body will be good for teeth and gum too. Avoid acidic drinks (soda, sports drinks) and sweets. If you do like these food, rinse or brush your teeth right after.
All decay or gum infection are caused by microbials (bacteria). Keep your teeth cleaning by brush and flossing and see a dentist regularly for prevention is the key.
