Usually not: Testcular cancer may spread to the lymph nodes of the back but this is seldom painful. It seldom metastasizes to the bone. Your question is important and should be moot -- if there's a testicular mass it needs to be investigated, if a person has been treated for testicular cancer, low back pain isn't the normal way a recurrence presents. About trauma, pain..: If in lower back, some causes of pain there include:  back muscle strain, back ligament sprain, fractured vertebra (spondylolysis), slipped vertebra (spondylolisthesis), herniated disc, spinal stenosis, spinal arthritis, urine infection, kidney infection or stone; tumor in the spine, kidney, or elsewhere;  fibromyalgia, etc...  With such a big list of possibilities, one's doctor needs to evaluate.

Muscle pain likely: Most back pain in young active males is from muscle strain . Why do you think it's cancer? Does someone close to you have cancer or has recently died'? A good exam from your doctor ( or urgent care if you don't have a doc) can reassure you. Tell them why you are concerned and give a good history of your pain. Tell them if there is a family history of cancer.

Back pain : Lots of possible causes. Go find out cause, treatment. Should you worry, no. Should you be prudent, yes. See your GP or go to Urgent Care (not ER).
