See an eye doctor: There are few home remedies that are effective at treating your condition. If the spot is on the eye itself, it is likely a growth related to sun exposure (pingueculum or pterygium). It is usually benign but can become irritated. The only effective treatment is removal. Short course of steroid drops may work sometimes, but see an eye doctor in order to get the right treatment.

Oral versus topical: Hello TPinton,

Bacitin is a trade name for Bacitracin.  Polysporin (bacitracin and polymyxin) is trade name for neosporin.  Both are topical anti-bacterial ointments.  If you have a nostril infection, then Canada's drug regulators do not approve of Bacitin for use inside the body:  for external use only!.

Polysporin (bacitracin and polymyxin) reads "do not use inside the nose unless directed by your physician"

: should be safe. It might be a good idea to have a culture of your nose for bacteria. There are other topical anti bacterials and you might need to know exactly what type of bacterial infection you have. See your doc to have a culture taken.

Balanitis?: Maybe balanitis (inflammation of the glans penis, esp. if uncircumcised.) It sounds like you might have tested yourself, e.g. through a lab you found on line. You need to be professionally examined to determine what is wrong and how best to treat it. The wrong treatment (e.g. bacitracin if it's a fungal infection) could make things worse.
