Neither: An axillary temp of 98.4 is not be considered a fever, but axillary temps may not be as accurate as rectal. Contact your doctor if rectal temp is 100.4 or higher in an infant under 2 months before giving any Tylenol (acetaminophen).  More important is how your baby is behaving with sleep and feedings. If your infant just had a check up and shots, it is common to have slight fever and fussiness.  Then meds ok..

: It is too early to tell. You just watch the symptoms for now. If the symptoms persists and get worse for another 48 hours, you can see a doctor by then. Mastitis is top of the problem list if symptoms persist. You should not concern about inflammatory breast cancer which does not behave that way.

9m baby just kicked on lower breast. it hurt a little  and was painful. now feeling stiffness next to armpit. is it ok? or should i be worried?

Yes: The space inside your abdomen at 9 months is getting very cramped. And the baby is quite strong by now!  a swift kick with baby's foot or heel can be very painful under the ribcage and can even refer pain elsewhere in arm area as you describe.  Nothing wrong, i've never heard of a baby actually 'injurying' its mother this way, but can definitely bruise a mom.  Hang in there!

Other structures in or around the armpit--such as nerves, muscles, bones and blood vessels--can cause underarm pain or discomfort. Underarm pain may be caused by traumatic injury, nervous system disorders or certain medical conditions. Some types of underarm pain require medical intervention.

Not if one time: The usual mixing instructions are 2 ounces of water (60 mL) for 1 scoop of powdered formula. If that is the case, it means we are short 2 ounces of water in this case. A baby should not notice that little of a difference. If worried, a parent can add an extra half-ounce of water to each of the next 4 feedings, and that will make up for the 2 ounces of water missed. No worries.

Not really: Cat litter is usually clay.  It is not good to eat it, but is not harmful.  The worst part would be the cat poop or possibly parasites from the cat.  Many children have eaten cat litter without any problems.  If the baby develops vomiting, abdominal pain or diarrhea, then have tests done for an infection from the litter.

Being a Mom: You put the thermometer in the arm pit and hold the arm close to the babies body for a minute or so.

Could be: Muscle soreness from overuse/or exercisizing. Could also be an infection of the skin or hair follicles.
