Yes: The space inside your abdomen at 9 months is getting very cramped. And the baby is quite strong by now! a swift kick with baby's foot or heel can be very painful under the ribcage and can even refer pain elsewhere in arm area as you describe. Nothing wrong, i've never heard of a baby actually 'injurying' its mother this way, but can definitely bruise a mom. Hang in there!

Yes and no: The pain and stiffness next to the armpit is a reaction to the injury you had, providing it will disappear in matter of few day to 2 weeks, if did not consult you doctor.
