Bleeding gums: The number one cause of bleeding gums is inflammation and infection.  Increasing your oral hygiene efforts and flossing more may help stop the bleeding.  It may take 4-8 days to see the results.  If bleeding of the gums do not stop after 8 days, you should consult your dentist immediately.

Not really: Altered sensation or temperature sensitivity in the teeth is common with sinusitis but not normally bleeding gums.  Gingivitis is usually the cause.  Only a dentist can diagnosis gingivitis.  To help avoid bleeding gums, massage your gums when you brush your teeth and floss daily.

Calculus is comprised of hardened bacterial colonies which need to be removed professionally by a dentist/hygienist. Failure to do so will slowly cause bone recession and loss of your teeth. Calculus, which is hard, builds up and causes the gums to become inflamed which in turn leads to bleeding gums. There are other possible causes such as certain medical conditions, food impaction, etc. See your dentist for a thorough exam, x-rays and cleaning.

would you visibly be able to see bone loss in teeth? bottom incisors have shifted and i'm worried that could be a cause. (i do have bleeding gums)

Seek exam: You can't see bone loss with the naked eye, the bone is completely covered with gum tissue.  If you are seeing gum recession, the underlying bone is receding.  Bleeding is indication of gum disease (infection).  Shifting is indication of bone loss.  Please see your Dentist and ask if referral to a Periodontist is in order.  You're too young to have all of these problems.
