Can't tell: You are very young and cancer is not too common at your age but in all fairness you could still have something like a lymphoma. Please see your doc for a good evaluation. Hope it's all well.

No: The overwhelmingly vast majority of palpable lymph nodes don't represent cancer in the node. That said, you should consult your doctor if you continue to be concerned.

Not likely: Breast cancer increases as women get older and it would be very unlikely for you to have breast cancer at age 20. At age 30 the chance of developing breast cancer during the next 10 years is 1 in 227. Breast cancer can spread to lymph nodes in the armpit, but this usually won't cause pain. It's much more likely your pain is from something else.

Q: can a constant pain in top breast and a little into the armpit mean breast cancer?

Breast pain: No. That is not how cancer presents itself!

Q: swollen lymph node between 1-1.5 cm in the left supraclavicular fossa, few shotty nodes in groin and armpit is it cancer? been ent. norm x ray and cbc

Lymphadenopathy: The only absolute way to determine whether these are malignant is to excise and biopsy and examine under the microscope. This would usually not be done unless the nodes seemed hard, fixed to underlying tissues, etc. Not sure why you are so worried about this at your age, but having an exam by a PCP might be beneficial, and if you are still disturbed, perhaps a therapist. Probably lymph gland: More likely you have infected lymph glands.  See your doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment.  Left untreated, these may develop into open sores.

Stop worrying: All young adults have a few palpable lymph nodes. You've been seen and you can trust your physician on this one. The ones that are worrisome are enormously big, or stony-hard, or stuck to surrounding structures, or accompanied by fever / weight loss / night sweats.

Accepted Answer

Cancer is scary: All men your age have some palpable lymph nodes. If this was cancer, it would be one of the malignant lymphomas and you'd know you are seriously sick as the nodes would enlarge greatly or you'd feel terrible. However, I have a sense that you do have symptoms, and the next step might be testing for infectious mono, toxo, CMV and hiv; if you can find a surgeon to biopsy a node, it's your option.

Accepted Answer

Probably ok for now: If you have been screened by six clinicians and they all feel it to be benign, probably the best course of action is to monitor it overtime. If it gets larger, you find additional palpable nodes or the nodes become fixed and hard, a follow-up assessment would be beneficial. If you would like to have them removed out of anxiety, maybe you should seek an excisional biopsy from a general surgeon.
