i got a sudden weird pain at left top of my head 10 hours ago. not a headache, only pain in that one spot. no other symptoms. now i have fear that is aneurysm and afraid to go to sleep. 21 y.o., no family history of aneurysm, no high blood pressure.

Head pain: If the head pain was sudden, Sharp and fleeting it may simply have been an irritable superficial scalp nerve. I would expect aneurysmal pain to be more lasting, throbbing and more intense. If you still have concerns, or have persistent symptoms, consult a neurologist for reassurance and peace of mind.

how many years of having high blood pressure would it take to develop an anuerysm if at all ?

Hypertension: Hi, you are on the right track. Hypertension is a chronic disease that causes problems over decades.  Family history, smoking, uncontrolled high blood pressure all play a role in aneurysm formation. There are also aneurysms that are found for seemingly no reason as well. AAA first-: An aortic aneurysm will never go away unless it is repaired. Not all aneurysms continue to enlarge, however, and some small aneurysms are safely observed and don't require attention. Enlarging aneurysms, or aneurysms that meet our criteria for repair (typically 5.5 cm) will need to be surgically corrected by a vascular surgeon.

Aneurysm : It is unlikely but not impossible to form an aneurysm in just a few weeks. If you had an acute aneurysm you would have pain.

BP Stress aneurysm: You did not mention a Family History.  Any blood pressure elevation can eventually lead to a ballooning of may blood vessels including the brain. Esp micro ones that will show up as little strokes on MRI. Discuss with your team.

Possible but rare: While coital cephalgia can be associated with an aneurysm, it is a rare finding.  Most commonly the cause is not found.  You certainly need to see your pcp to evaluate you and also to control your blood pressure.  It is interesting to note that this condition is actually much more common in men.

Bp: Not likely but you should seek to keep it under control since you already had one aneurysm treated.

You won't get a leaky aneurysm from low blood pressure, so chill.Eating salty foods and staying well hydrated can help raise ur bp.Talk to a cardiologist with a tilt table for more help.

Incredibly Low: Unless there is a familial aortic aneurysm which refers to a genetic predisposition to aortic aneurysm or dissection, or other syndromes such as marfan's or loeys-dietz, this would be almost unheard of. These hereditary conditions are related to connective tissue disorders that leads to weak arteries and predisoses one to anuersym formation. If you/family do not have these problems then no aaa.
