Don't take it: Up to half the bacteria that cause UTI are not susceptible to amoxicillin/clavulanate, so it's very chancy. And if it doesn't work, it could make  later diagnosis more difficult. Contact your doctor, who may not need to see you, maybe prescribe by phone if your symptoms are typical. In meantime, drink lots of fluids and maybe try phenazopyridine (e.g Azo®) to help symptoms. Yes: This is Amoxicillin with clavulanic acid which  is a very good choice to treat bacteria which have developed some resistance to plain amoxicillin. For sinus infections however, the duration of treatment often requires more than the standard 10 day course.

i am taking amox tr-k clv 875 mg 125 mg every 12 hours but want to take it once a day instead. i am a diabetic and taking farxiga,oseni,lipitor (atorvastatin).

I would advise not: to do that. The antibiotic is 12 hours tab, and it becomes low in the body after 12 hours resulting in being not effective as well as making the infection grow resistance to the Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate).

It is usually 7 to 10 days, so please bear it and continue taking as prescribed.

Varies: Side effects could happen within minutes or days.  The most common complaints with generic augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) are stomach upset, cramping, and diarrhea.  It is better if you take the pill with food.  More serious issues include anaphylaxis, dark urine, persistent vomiting, yellow skin/eyes, bruising.You could also get c diff, a bacterial infection that is caused by antibiotic use. Maybe...: The antibiotic should still be effective, but it probably will be a lot more difficult to take than simply swallowing the pills. It would be bitter and bad tasting. If you have trouble taking pills, contact your doctor's office or the pharmacy about getting the liquid form usually prescribed for children. It will be much easier to swallow and assure proper dosing.

Stop them: While you are taking the antibiotic I would stop the other products t hat you mention. This do very little to help you although they are supplements and no need to prevent your meds from working normally at this time.
Wait to resume them until  you have completed the course of antibiotics

Yes: An infection and/or medications can certainly change your cycle.  If it goes longer than 10 days and shows no signs of getting lighter, see your gyn.  He/She can help you with that.

Sinus infection?: If you have been diagnosed with a sinus infection results are not often seen immediately. However, if the symptoms worsen, you may require a change in your antibiotic regimen. Discuss this with your physician.
