Don't take it: Up to half the bacteria that cause UTI are not susceptible to amoxicillin/clavulanate, so it's very chancy. And if it doesn't work, it could make later diagnosis more difficult. Contact your doctor, who may not need to see you, maybe prescribe by phone if your symptoms are typical. In meantime, drink lots of fluids and maybe try phenazopyridine (e.g Azo®) to help symptoms.
