: There is moderate interaction between these 2 drugs so you should be monitored closely when using them together. Blood pressure, heart rate, the efficacy of weight loss treatment need to be regularly assessed. Additive central nervous system effects (e.g., dizziness) may also occur.

Yes: Elavil (amitriptyline) (ami...) can cause wt gain by causing dry mouth, sedation and calming which seem to encourage wt gain.  Discuss with your md about alternate choices.  You can still loose wt if you adjust your diet but it is more difficult.

This varies from : Person to person. The medical model of weight loss = calories consumed - calories lost through rest and activity is giving way to a new model that takes into account the intestinal micro biome  which represents all of the gut flora in your body. Lymphoma: Have no idea why you would think this is lymphoma. Anxiety and depression sounds accurate from your description, and if something else is going on can think of half dozen or more diagnoses likelier than lymphoma.  If you do not begin to gain weight on a good diet, see a GI doctor and get fully evaluated. Good luck and have a good thanksgiving.

Yes.: Elavil (amitriptyline) has some "anticholinergic" properties. This can cause memory impairment, as well as dry eyes, dry mouth, and constipation. These effects are not permanent, and sometimes the body can adjust to them over time. Discuss this with your doctor.

Unlikely: there may be another cause of hair loss. ask your dr to do general review: physical, labs (including thyroid) and be sure othier things are okay.

Neurosurgeon opinion: This opinion will give you the best answer. The problem appears to be the osteophyte and may reflect pressure on a nerve. It  does not necessarily follow that this is the cause but may be a cause. The physiotherapy and meds are a conservative way of treatment. Has the pain gotten better?
