Cough: You should have your doctor check to see if you have asthma by doing a lung function test. Cough induced by cold air like in this case when you take a deep breath can be a sign of having undiagnosed asthma.

This may well be: asthma,which can be brought on by cold weather.If allergies are present,they must be controlled in order for asthma to go away.Seek help from your Primary Care Physician, or a Pulmonary or an Allergy specialist.

Yes: Two reasons - (1) if you cannot breathe through your nose which is common when experiencing allergy symptoms, it can give you a sensation of suffocating (try plugging your nose with your fingers and you will know what i mean) and (2) allergies can trigger asthma which can make it difficult to get a deep breath into your lungs because air can become trapped in the lungs.

Yes,but don't ignore: Allergies can make you congested enough to make it hard to take a deep breath. However, if you feel like you can't catch your breath, go see your doctor. It might be more than allergies.

Mgt: There are many causes of these symptoms. These include asthma, pulmonary infections and a pulmonary embolism.  A virtual appointment is available. If you are in acute distress, please proceed to the ED.
A chest radiograph may be ordered by your physician as part of your diagnostic work up.

Allergy not cause: Allergies, even when severe, do not cause visual change or blood pressure or heart rates changes. Some allergy medications can cause elevation of blood pressure. See your doctor

Some thoughts...: Halitosis (bad breath) issues:  one's dentist will make sure teeth are polished and there are no cavities, no gum disease. Floss well. One's doctor can check the multiple symptoms. Chemicals from some foods or drinks diffuse into the flesh in the mouth and throat. The chemical odors come out into the breath for many hours. Some foods cause odors when in the stomach and odors can come back up.

can i use my epipen (epinephrine) for dust allergies? i sometimes wake up in the middle of the night with my throat so irritated it's hard to swallow or breath.

Should only : Be used for the exact reason it was prescribed...   Minor irritation is not a reason to use the med.  Go over the indications for use with your doctor again if you are unclear.

Otrivine: Otrivine nasal spray decongests nasal membrane swelling and I see no problem in your using it to open up your nasal passages. If allergies are responsible for your nasal congestion,I assume you also take oral antihistamine medication. Do not exceed recommended dosing of Otrivine spray as rebound membrane swelling is a real possibility.  Also questions can be answered by the MD who did the procedur

Common Symptoms: Poorly controlled nasal allergies can present with the above symptoms. Swollen lymph node could be from a recent viral infection causing worsening nasal symptoms. Canker sores are also very common. If you have had risky sexual behavior recently then getting tested for HIV is always advisable regardless of what symptoms you are currently suffering from.
