Don't know for sure: Alex plus syrup contains guafenesin, dextromethorphan and phenylephrine..  Class C drug, Animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus and there are no adequate and well controlled studies in humans. I would avoid it.

alex is taking the antibiotic clarithromycin for strep  been on it 2 days and both nights he has been having crying episodes could this be the meds?

Strep throat therapy: Most antibiotics are very effective vs group A Strep -the germ that causes Strep throat. Clarithromycin should be 95% effective or greater. There's a slim chance of resistance (all germs are becoming tougher to kill these days). It may be that the symptoms of pharyngitis are bothering him -so check things like fever, taking fluids etc. Or maybe some side-effects from med-clarithro can cause nausea

Laser : Most laser specialists prefer the diode lasers for treating dark  unwanted hair.  See a dermatologist for a consultation.

alex has a chest infection and fever. i have accidently given him the wrong paracetamol. 4ml of 250mg/5ml rather than 3 ml of 120mg/5ml. should i be concerned. ?

Need more info: How much does he weigh? The standard dosing is 10-15 mg/kg. If his dose was supposed to be ~70-100 mg, then he received double that. Don't give him any more for at least 12 hours, but it is unlikely that a single dose of 200 mg will cause significant harm.

alex has areas on the top of his hands that started warm and red. the second day they had small blisters resembling poison ivy but they do not itch. ?

Contact Dermatitis?: It sounds like he may have come in contact with something that he has an allergy to.  If the area continues to worsen, see a doc or open a video consult so it can be evaluated in case it's something else.  Hope this helps!

Get another opinion: When the eye is irritated, it makes mucous.  Why your eye is irritated can be discovered by an ophthalmologist.

Assuming things here: I assume you are referring to vaginal moisture with sexual excitement?  Many things can contribute to this.  In a 22 year old, this is usually not a problem.  Medications?  Stress?  Relational problems?  Inadequate foreplay and desire?  Depression?  Anxiety?  Drugs?  Alcohol?  Don't like the dude/dudess?  Apprehension?  Painful?  Can use any number of lubricants!  if in doubt, get it checked out.

Time for consult: If you have been having unprotected sex with your partner for more than a year &amp; not conceived, a workup at a fertility center may be the best way to find answers. Both you &amp; your partner will need to be evaluated. Your regular OB can sometimes start the process but the center can study you both &amp; provide information on assisted pregnancy if needed.

i havent been able to keep any food down in 5 days. what do i do?

See doc: You should inform your pediatrician or primary care doc. If not established or not willing to, an urgent care consult may be needed for 2 reasons at least: starting workup for your condition and getting hydrated as you are likely dehydrated. Doing it timely will only help.
