can alcohol cause canker sores? i have an area that hurts between my molars and my cheek. but it seems too big to be a canker sore. idk. please help.

Possibly!: Alcohol is an irritant to mucosal tissue. Depends on your particular sensitivity and on the Proof of the drink and how many exposures to it you've had. What can cause a lesion for you may not for someone else. Be careful...there are other lesions that can mimic canker sores too.

Needs to be checked: You do have other medical problems and taking meds.The throat looking red and the black painless round dot naads to be checked and may need biopsy if indicated after examination

Soft tissue ulcer.: A cold sore depending on how severe the lesions on the mucosal soft tissue lasts 7-10 days.  An application of Abreva helps lessen the symptoms to 3-4 days.
The cold sore may stimulate the Trigeminal V3 nerves on the cheek and face and cause tingling.

Mupirocin usually wo: rks there.  It is a one/day antibiotic. If it doesn't go back to your doc.

Not likely: Unless you see fluid filled rashes almost in a line, it is not likely to be shingles. It becomes clear with in 3-4 days. If it is on one side only then occipital neuralgia is a possibility and can be treated if persistent for weeks.

Not herpes: If this were herpes, blisters and then open sores would appear within 3-5 days, and would always occur before burning or tingling, not afterward. At 13 days, you can be sure herpes isn't the cause. I doubt this is any STD at all. See a doctor if symptoms continue and/or you remain concerned. Good luck!

Needs to be evaluate: It is difficult to  tell you what is causing your symptoms of tingling sensation, needle like pain and sore to touch.We need detailed history as to exact location of pain and how long you have had and if you have tried any therapy so far.Any associated symptoms in eyes and any relation to your periods and how often this happens.You need physical exam and may need other tests if indicated.See MD

Neck pain: Ringing in ear is probably not related to the neck pain, could be due to hearing loss or ear problems. Neck pain could be due to disc disease in the neck.  See your doctor.
