hello dr. i been having dull pain on my r/h side of stomach.  i have some acid reflux and discomfort when i eat. what could this be?  thank you.

Gallbladder disease: You probably have a gallbladder problem. You need an ultrasound to check for gallstones and/our inflammation of the gallbladder wall.

while i was in the car i got fuzzy/ tingling feeling in my legs, arms, neck, my left side of my face, and shoulder. and i have the stomach(acid reflux) some heart problems and lower back soreness. kindly feel like my blood. is it something else?

Tingling: It would help to know how long these symptoms lasted or what kind of heart condition you have. A very fleeting episode without other neurological symptoms may be less likely to be a transient ischemic attack. Reflux or low back soreness appear unrelated. Nevertheless such an episode, especially if it recurs, warrants a consultation with a neurologist who'll take history&amp;order appropriate tests

Upper gi: Your symptoms suggest possibly gallbladder, stomach/ small bowel or pancreas possibly being involved in your symptoms. Keeping a log including ingested food and timing of symptoms may help your doc sort it out. Having your symptoms addressed sooner rather than later makes sense as such symptoms tend to progress.

what medication(ppi) is the most successful at eliminating acid reflux,but has the least side effects. pantoprazole gave me terrible stomach pain. ?

Efficacy: Studies show that all of the PPIs have similar efficacy, however, side effects are variable. You can switch to another PPI, such as Nexium (esomeprazole) and not necessarily have the same side effects. Talk with your prescribing physician. Have you been tested for H. Pylori? If pain symptoms persist, get a referral to a GI doctor and get a scope. If H. Pylori+take therapy+retest to make sure clear

Constipation /reflux: Constipation or acid reflux can cause right sided stomach pain.  Pain in the right upper stomach is often due to gallbladder disease. is a safe effective treatment. Try a PPI, such as Prilosec or Nexium (esomeprazole) to control acid reflux.
