Inflammation: The chest wall is particularly prone to small tears in muscle and cartilage from activity. These are innocent most of the time, but can take a while to improve because your chest wall is always in motion. Try icing the area several times a day and using Ibuprofen or something similar for relief. Like all pain, if it continues get it checked out.

Depends: The answer depends upon where the tear occurred and it's severity; then there is always the referred pain component from the event...So i'll say yes.

A few clues: Well, because it gets worse when you compress your sternum (which is connected to your ribcage by costochondral joints), your pain sounds musculoskeletal.  Such pain would be worse with respiratory movement and  could affect both front and back. Since it's intermittent over 7 months, we can assume it's benign. Fibromyalgia or inflammatory arthritis should be ruled out. Trial of nsaids?

i have aching sore armpit at the top of the side chest bone in the hollow when i move in certain positions feels slightly swollen and the bone is sore?

Inflammation: Do you exercise or lift weight? Do you do repetitive movement involving Upper Arm? 
Appears you have Musculoskeletal pain/Strain. Rx Anti inflammatory like Advil/ Aleve (naproxen) etc. As long as you do not have a beginning of sore( an Abscess from Infected hair follicles) you will be fine.

only happened twice now but when i drink liquor within 10 mins my body starts to ache like my bones hurt n lil bit of chest pain ?

Hard to be sure: I advise a medical exam,  particularly if you are being prescribed any medications or taking supplements.  Also, if your liver was inflamed for any reason it might explain these symptoms.

If it happens sporadically when you drink alcohol there are more possibilities.  If it has happened every time you drink alcohol I would wonder about a genetic factor involved in how you metabolize alcohol.

Possible reflux: You may want to talk to your physician about possible gastroesophageal reflux disease.  GERD caused by increased gastric acid into the esophagus. The initial sore throat may have been your first symptoms which has now progressed to the pain you feel.  Follow up with your doctor and discuss this as a possible explanation of your symptoms.

my dad has 22.45 wbc with 71.1% neu and 18% lym. no chest nodules, joint/bone pain or above mild fatigue - can lift stuff and doesn't sleep to long or too short. he's a smoker. no sight problems or body ache. he only had the flu the day he gave the sample

Repeat check CBC: This can be caused by an infection(does he have any fever?). It can also be a lab error or some other rare cause which can be looked into if the count does not decrease back to normal(Under 10,000). You should get a repeat blood count done. It is called CBC(complete blood count).

had a raised heart rate a week ago checked ecg, heart monitor, chest x-ray and bloods all ok except liver slightly raised, have ache on left side breast bone area .  rhr dropped from average 65 to 60 should i be concerned?
