After extraction: How long has it been from the time you had the tooth removed? Today? Two days ago? A week?  Your dentist should have given you specific directions to follow. If not, call and ask. Each dentist has a different protocol. It would be his\her decision to make and not ours.

Can be revised: It depends upon how long ago the extraction was done.  A residual operculum is not very unusual and typically they reshape to a minimal form that does not need treatment.  Occasionally, they need revision which is often done with a laser.  Very quick, simple and minimal post op issue.  I would suggest to wait about 6 months post surgery before a revision unless it is very bothersome.

Yes: After the removal of your tooth your salivary glands become more active as part of the bodies healing process.    There will be a combination of saliva and bleeding after the extraction.

You should be rinsing your mouth out with salt water to keep food out of the extraction sites.
Things will return to normal over time depending on how difficult the extraction was.
