Can be revised: It depends upon how long ago the extraction was done. A residual operculum is not very unusual and typically they reshape to a minimal form that does not need treatment. Occasionally, they need revision which is often done with a laser. Very quick, simple and minimal post op issue. I would suggest to wait about 6 months post surgery before a revision unless it is very bothersome.
