Soft food: Any soft food that is easy to chew; and does not require lots of chewing to digest; and does not get packed into socket, is recommended. Examples are: yogurt, fruits, omelet (or scrambled egg), smoothie (do not use a straw--just drink), soups, mashed potatoes, soft pasta like mac ; cheese, tofu, etc. You may be given a post-op instruction sheet, which may list the food recommendation.

Very safe.: Very safe, your oral surgeon will give you a complete list of instructions about food and other things. Make sure you are evaluated and treated by a board certified oral surgeon.
