Less dense breasts: There are different levels of density, or thickness, of breast tissue.  Scattered fibroglandular densities means that your breasts are not dense.  It will be easier to see any abnormalities on your images.

: If you had screening mammogram and you have no symptoms or signs for breast mass, it means that axillary lymph nodes were seen on ultrasound which they noted and if any change will occur, then a comparison can be helpful in diagnosing  cause of change. If lymph node is larger than 1.5 cm, hard or fixed, then it needs biopsy  by needle aspiration or by removing the lymph node, sent for pathology.

No concern needed: It simply means that your breasts are &quot;thick&quot; with tissue and  moderately hard to &quot;see&quot; on mammogram. A word of caution however, because of your post menopausal age of 63, if the MD reading your future mammogram report indicates that it is very difficult to see through them to provide an adequate negative examination, please follow up with  the additional recommended testing.

Mammography: This is a matter of controversy at this time. At age 50 mammograms every two years may be reasonable, but yearly mammography can still be done. I would be guided by your physician or gynecologist.

Axillary node ?'s: Axillary lymph nodes can enlarge due to multiple causes, and once enlarged, seldom revert to normal.  A "mammogram BI-RAD 1" result is normal and does not require a biopsy.  If there is breast cancer in your immediate family history (mother, sister, grandmother) to be certain an MRI may be required, which is more accurate than even digital mammography.
