The : The primary symptoms of multiple sclerosis are caused by inflammation in the central nervous system (the brain and spinal cord).  This inflammation usually causes damage to the outer, insulating part of nerve fibers called myelin, and can sometimes damage the fiber (or "axon") too.  The symptoms of multiple sclerosis overlap with a number of other neurological, medical and psychiatric conditions.  Multiple sclerosis can cause a number of symptoms, including vision loss, incoordination, weakness, and numbness, just to name a few.   Usually these symptoms do not occur all at once, but affect different functions of different parts of the body at different times.

See neurologist: It depends which finger and what brings the tingling on...If it is the 2nd, 3rd digit numbness, it may be carpal tunnel or ulanr neuropathy if the 4th and fifth...
It may come from a pinched nerve in the neck if you shooting pains from the neck down to a specific area.
Or it may be from a more spreadout proces involving damage to the nerve endings.
Best to see neurologist.

See your doctor: You may have trigeminal neuralgia, TMJ (temperal mandibular joint) pain or many other issues to include anxiety.  Your doctor will be able to suggest a diagnostic work up or medication that can control this.  Often the dentist can help with making a retainer.

Medical workup: These sensations appear to be muscular in origin and can be seen in a variety of conditions e.g. Chiari malformation, dermatomyositis, tension myositis, psycho-social stress, depression, suppressed anger, post traumatic stress disorder, spinal deformity, spinal cord tumors, the list goes on. If symptoms persist see your primary care physician for a medical workup.

Many symptoms...: While this could be a sign of a herniated disc, it sounds a little more like facet arthritis as it does not radiate to different areas and does not have a constant dull ache. That being said, a physical exam and imaging would be necessary to be sure. If you are concerned about an actual herniation, then I would recommend seeing a physician for an exam to be safe.

Tingling: This would most likely be a nonspecific irritability of superficial scalp nerves. Since it's so localized, It's possibly a reaction to hair products or hair brushing or combing. Nevertheless have someone inspect your scalp to check for any sign of scalp inflammation. See your physician as needed.

i have been getting numbness and tingling in my back along my spine. no pain now but had pain in upper back over weekend. could this be caused by a weekend of continuous heavy lifting and standing which was work i wasn't used to? very worried?

: Physical activity that you are not used to could result in your symptoms. You may take acetaminophen to help with the pain, no more than 4 g in a day, no alcohol. Warm compresses may help. If it does not relieve in couple of days, see a doctor, Regular aerobic exercise will assist in the long term. Raising core body temperature through exercise strengthens the muscles and make those more flexible.

Numbness tingling: Impossible to say without more information. However if it has persisted greater than 2 weeks, it should be evaluated. Could be anything from a temporary viral inflammation to ms, to a brain tumor.

It could be the result of putting something directly on the lips that interacts and causes irritation.  It could be signaling the deficiency of certain vitamin supplements such as B12, folate, (folic acid) or B6 (pyridoxine).  You should get a metabolic evaluation.
