Chest pressure: I am concerned in a 44 year old that chest fullness that can also involve the neck can be coronary artery disease. This must be excluded first. If that is not the cause then look to the digestive and respiratory track and for structural causes with your physician.

R/O TONSILITIS: LATYNGITIS and recurrent sore throats can cause tonsillitis . You need to be examined and have a throat culture. If that is negative then blood work needs to be done to evaluate for other issues, especially H. pylori. It is the ulcer causing bacteria that can cause halitosis//Gerd as well as laryngitis.. Make sure to brush and floss teeth 3x/dy. Also use a specially designed tongue scraper

Post-nasal drainage: You are a 26 y.o. male on ativan (lorazepam) for anxiety. You have a very low risk for a primary cardiac event. It is more likely that you had post-nasal drainage over night due to allergies or common cold. You may also have had gastric refluxate up into throat which would have tasted sour and possibly sensed burning. Did your doctor check for the source of the fluid? do you have facial pressure or pain?

Could be reflux: If it's associated with sleep, then there's possibly a small amount of stomach contents going back into the throat due to gravity.  Even a very small amount of reflux could give a strange taste in the mouth.  Reflux can cause the blocked feeling in the throat.  Stomach ulcers can cause you to feel full after eating a small amount.  Make sure you get checked up by your doc for this!

Before or after?: If after then no good reason for fullness.  If before the most common cause for globus sensation usually muscular tightness in upper sphincter between throat and esophagus often from reflux. Sometimes from stress, thyroiditis, irritation of nerves in throat. Consider ENT eval with barium swallow and exam of throat and larynx.

Neck fullness: Fullness and pressure in the neck/ throat can be from an external factor an enlarged lymph node or cyst pushing on a neck structure, or from thickened secretions accumulating at the level of the adam's apple/voice box.
See an ear nose and throat specialist for a thorough head and neck exam, including a direct look at the voice box.
