Yes: Using a roman chair to protect the back from the forces transmitted by doing a biceps curl is helpful and triceps presses up and down with the low back supported or at least in the erect position is somewhat protective. Also use low weight and hi reps but do not lift to filure.

over the past few weeks, i've been getting this throbbing in the back of my head. it isn't painful. it usually lasts for less than a 1/2 hour. it's worsened when i work out. i also get a really warm feeling in my head, neck, & arms when it happens. ?

Headache: it is probably  from tightening your upper back/neck muscles,  such as your trapezius muscles.
Try stretching to loosen the neck muscles before and after a work out

: Did your physician agree there's a palpable lump in your axilla?  A negative ultrasound rules out significant lymph node abnormalities. The weight lifting wouldn't affect breast size but can affect the underlying pectoral muscle which can swell &amp; become painful.I assume your mammogram is ok.  I think you can be reassured about having any breast or axillary pathology if your MD didn't feel a lump.

PT evaluation: There are lots of exercises you can do.  I would suggest seeing a physical therapist or a personal trainer for some specifics.  Shoulder exercise with bands can be done, as well as bicep curls with stiff wrists.  You might try using wrist wraps as well.  Good luck.

Eat well: If you are trying to lose weight while working out with boxing, make sure you do several things.  Hydration.....Drink at least 100 oz of water in addition to other drinks every day.  Eat/drink high protein, low carb low fat foods, but keep some balance.  Eat small amounts 5 to 6 times a day.  If you are doing an aggressive program, it would be safer to check liver function tests periodically.

These exercises help to build arm muscle:   push downs, pin presses, dumbbell wrist curls, dips, rolling extensions, barbell wrist curls, preacher curls, chin ups, lying barbell triceps extensions, thick  grip curls, concentration curls & lying dumbbell triceps extensions.

i can't straighten my arms after a long workout. is this normal?

Not likely.: If you can't straighten your arms, the muscles may be contracted, or in spasm. You should stretch out before and after your workouts to maintain flexibility and range of motion.
