So lucky!: Consider yourself blessed that morning sickness stopped!  if you saw the babies on ultrasound with heartbeats just a few days ago, i wouldn't be worried.  You can always make another appt with doctor to check if you're worried, but by no means does lack of nausea mean you have miscarried!  congratulations!

i am 9 weeks pregnant. my doctor said that they found fluid behind the babies neck at ultrasound. she said its normal but could be down's syndrome. i just wanted to get a second opinion. i have an appointment with high risk to get another ultra sound at 1

Downs: Some findings on US like yours are very soft criteria. Repeating the US is good and there are other choices for analysis. Some clinics still do an amniocentesis  not without risk if concerned but there is a simple collection of maternal blood that can also give you an accurate answer. All the best for a healthy pregnancy.

im 9 weeks pregnant and suffer with incredibly dry sinuses. is there any otc nasal spray thats safe? is saline spray for babies noses safe? the mucous is so dry that it's streaked with blood like a sinus infection. please help :(

Will be fine: OTC nasal saline is fine. Use of a once a day nasal steroid spray if available is also okay. For any med to bother baby it must be absorbed in enough quantity to enter the blood &amp; circulate to baby. These simple sprays do not.

Not yet: The bag of waters provides adequate protection to a developing fetus against any germs that do not enter through the blood. Your chlamydia has no blood phase and does not pass to baby during pregnancy.The germ could adhere to babies skin and cause later infection if you do not get treated.This can occur during delivery.

6 or 7 weeks: Pregnancy is dated from the last menstrual period.   You ovulated, usually 14 to 20 days after that, so the baby was conceived about 2 or 3 weeks later.  If you know exactly when you ovulated you could estimate a bit more precisely.  Best of luck to you.

Unlikely: At 9 weeks the fetus weighs 8 grams and is less than 1/4 inch long. The placental attachment is bigger than the fetus but only by 2-3X. You have likely not toned up your abdominal muscles completely after the last pregnancy &amp; contents of bladder &amp; bowel, specifically gas may make you be more prominent.

I wouldn't: Your babies placenta does a good job of filtering out some of the bad & only accepting the good stuff. As long as you didn't end up in the hospital with smoke inhalation on oxygen  yourself, the exposure is unlikely to have an impact on baby. If you are still concerned , discuss your specific situation with the ob.

Totally fine: Spicy foods are not going to hurt your baby. If they are not causing any indigestion symptoms for you, then go for it!

Yes: This issue has been studied in detail and found to be safe during pregnancy.Some ob'slike to wait until 12 wks out of extra caution, but there has been no problems with those who had it done earlier. On the flip side we do loose pregnant ladies to flu every year.
