Home remedies: You can gargle w aloe vera juice a couple of times per day. A mix of chamomile tea w honey ; a small amt of lemon juice helps. For significantly sore throat w swollen tonsils / lymph nodes – see physician ; get a strep throat test ; culture. Antibiotics are imperative for strep throat.

The cranial nerves: I controls smell; ii vision; iii, iv, and vi all control eye movement; v controls part of the face sensory and muscle; vii is the main facial nerve and controls facial movements; viii is the auditory and vestibular (balance) nerve; xi controls part of the throat & tongue; x controls the gag reflex and parasympathetic function; xi controls the large strap muscle on the side of the neck; xii  tongue.

Optic Neuritis: Some causes of inflammation of optic nerves are Autoimmune diseases such as Multiple sclerosis, Sarcoidosis, Systemic Lupus, Infections such as measles or mumps or Herpes, or Drugs such as Tuberculosis medications.

Ent or plastics: Facial nerve damage can be managed and treated with a few differe NT options depending on what caused the damage.  Since often it causes facial drooping on the affected side it can result in difficulty eating without ability to completely close that side of your mouth as well as dry eyes without the ability to close that sides eye. Weights can b sutured into eyelid and plastics can improve looks.

Mult. Manifestations: Decrease in vision, altered color perception, double vision, visual field abnormalities, proptosis, pupilary response defects, just to name a few. This pt. Needs to see a neuro-opthalmologist for evaluation and appropriate testing(ct/mri, vf, etc.) asap.

However, you could also be suffering from a disorder such as cadasil or melas, and, based on your info, could consider a vasculitic disorder.  Since there are many potential answers, genetic testing, spinal fluid analysis, and additional docs might help.
