Hepatitis A igm

Hepatitis A igm

Share

Link copied

Hepatitis a is a virus that is transmitted through contaminated water sources. It infects the liver and causes liver damage. The body is usually able to eradicate the virus and the infection does not become chronic. The hepatitis igm antibody is part of the early immune response against the infection. It is the first type of antibody formed. It can be measured in the blood during acute infection.
