Fev1
This is the forced expiratory volume in 1 second and is the amount of air one can rapidly expire after a deep breath in 1 second. It is a component of pulmonary function tests, and along with other aspects of the test can help diagnosis lung disease or the severity of certain kinds of diseases like copd.
