Underbite
An underbite can be a combination of underlying causes. The typical underbite is usually caused by the lower jaw growing at a faster forward rate than the upper jaw, or the upper jaw not growing as fast as the lower jaw, or a combination of the two. Also, there could be a 'dental' underbite caused by the bottom teeth being ahead of the top teeth with jaws growing normally.
How long it usually lasts:
Chronic (lasts years to lifelong)
